The Qatari Ministry of Justice launches digital services to enhance efficiency and transparency.

The Ministry of Justice in Qatar has launched a comprehensive package of new electronic services to enhance the efficiency and performance of various administrative units and facilitate easy and effective access to services for the public and clients.

This initiative is part of the Ministry’s 2024-2030 strategy, which aligns with Qatar National Vision 2030 and supports digital transformation across different government sectors.

One key component is the State Case Management System, which allows government entities to monitor their legal cases and submit requests electronically through an integrated portal. This system facilitates case search and viewing and provides real-time comprehensive statistics, thus improving judicial efficiency and increasing transparency.

Additionally, the Real Estate Registration Department launched the “Muayyanati” system, an integrated electronic system that aids in managing real estate inspection processes using tablets. It is integrated with the real estate mapping system, significantly speeding up transaction processing and enhancing accuracy.

An interactive geographic information dashboard was also introduced to display data on sold properties and their locations, integrated with real estate mapping systems.

In the realm of real estate mediation, three new services have been launched: replacement of Damaged items, Replacement of Lost items, and Electronic Inspections. These services enable inspectors to conduct field tasks and record notes and evidence electronically via tablets, thereby replacing traditional systems and achieving full integration with Geographic Information Systems (GIS).

In legal training, the Legal and Judicial Studies Center has implemented a system for the collective digital approval and signing of training course certificates through an electronic workflow, reducing time and effort compared to the traditional paper-based approval system. Internal services were also launched within the shared services sector to facilitate administrative and financial services for various administrative units within the Ministry.

In this context, Mr. Khamis Mohamed Al-Buainain Al-Kuwari, Assistant Undersecretary for Shared Services at the Ministry of Justice, told the Qatar News Agency about the importance of the new services at the Ministry, which will bring a qualitative leap in the provision and access to its services.

He praised the significant role played by the Information Regulation Department, in collaboration with various administrative units, in launching these services in response to the directives of His Excellency Mr. Ibrahim bin Ali Al-Mahmoud, Minister of Justice and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, to activate the Ministry’s digital transformation plan in line with its 2024-2030 strategy. These efforts also align with the sectoral plans of the Third National Development Strategy, seeking to achieve the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030.

Dr. Jassim Saleh Al-Kuwari, Director of the State Case Management Department, highlighted the importance of the upgraded version of the State Case Management System, which offers easy electronic use and flexible case search options. The system provides a control panel displaying accurate information on cases and enables the extraction of detailed, instant statistics on all cases and various litigation stages. Dr. Al-Kuwari emphasized that this update will enhance efficiency and effectiveness in monitoring and completing legal cases.
