Courts and Judiciary<p>Caught between criticism and the veto, the United Nations has remained at a standstill for decades. Powerless nations may exercise their right to criticize as they wish, but any debate or theorizing about humanity, justice, and equality, without the power to uphold it, will never come to fruition—just like Security Council resolutions left to gather dust after being blocked, time and again, by those who wield the power of the veto.</p>
